Sadly, Puss in Boots, the undaunted Spanish lover and hero, is now down to the last of his nine lives, a decade after the events of Puss in Boots (2011). And as if that weren't enough, the unstoppable bounty hunter known as The Big Bad Wolf is after him. To restore all of his precious lives and escape an inglorious fate, Puss must pluck up his courage to embark on a dangerous quest into the Dark Forest to find the legendary Wishing Star. However, Puss isn't the only one seeking the map to the magical star. As the daring outlaw puts his skills to good use to stay one step ahead of formidable adversaries determined to get their hands on it, a crucial question arises: Does he have what it takes to face his most skilled and terrifying opponent and get his life back on track?

I had a good time watching this 23rd DreamWorks Animation movie on DVD twice. I have enjoyed watching Puss in Boots (October 28, 2011) for the first time on November 6, 2014 & again with my Mommy today on March 10, 2024 & I have enjoyed how Puss and Humpty Dumpty were brothers together when Puss though that Humpty betrayed him at first. I also remember the part when Puss and Kitty were dance fighting. I also remember when Puss was trying to steal the magic beans from Jack and Jill because Jack and Jill were so evil and when they planted the magic beans, they went into the clouds in the sky and they even broke a giant glass and later fell from the sky together with a leaf. I also liked when Puss in Boots (October 28, 2011) was telling a story about his and Humpty's life of being brothers. I also saw Puss's mother in the movie including at the end. There was also a giant golden goose that was so scary. I liked this DreamWorks Animation movie and will see it again on another year. The 24th DreamWorks Animation movie that my Mommy and I are going to watch next is Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (June 8, 2012).

Honestly I was hyped about watching this movie and I have to say it surpassed how good I thought it would be originally! The movie is amazing in my personal opinion!! I love the portrayal of how Death makes Puss feel due to the fact the realism in the emotion. Doesn't deserve bad reviews in my opinion! I have seen a bunch of reviews about parents/guardians complaining about how it's either violent or inappropriate for children. If you want to watch something with your little toddler, I wouldn't recommend watching a movie when the main character is quite literally an outlaw. Watch cocomelon or my little pony if you want something rated G with your kids. Also, just remember that a lot of kids movies have violence like fighting villains or a kissing usually with princesses or princes. Not every movie is all rainbows and sparkles. Your children are subjected to worse in schools and will face worse when they grow up.
